To learn how to respond to domestic and family violence, we encourage church leadership teams to seek out training opportunities. Some providers are listed here.

DV Alert training

This Federal Government funded service provides free domestic violence awareness sessions as well as a free trainer who will come to your church for 1-2 day sessions. For more information click here.

National Council of Churches training 

The NCCA provides full-day and half-day Safe Church Awareness and Refresher Workshops. For training times click here. 

Church Cares video training

This US-based group offers a handbook, an introductory video, and 12 lesson videos to help Christian leaders understand and implement the best practices for handling the variety of abuse scenarios at church, school, or ministry. For Church Cares resources, click here.

Common Grace training

We are currently raising funds to develop SAFER online training and face to face forums and workshops. You can help get this project off the ground by donating here.
